Case Study – Offshore Gas Turbine Fleet LTSA Review

  • An Industrial Gas Turbines OEM adopted a new business model, providing Long Term Service Agreements (LTSAs) in addition to equipment sales. The LTSA means the OEM incurs all maintenance costs.
  • We were asked to review the LTSA maintenance tasks to reduce costs and increase availability.

Case Study – Gas Flaring Issue Maintenance Improvement

  • Gas flaring was a sensitive issue for a major Middle Eastern Client. A high level of flaring took place during planned and unplanned maintenance of the compressor.
  • An important part of our study was to find environmental and availability improvements; and we did.

Case Study – Availability Increase of Centrifugal Compressor

  • Our client was facing government pressure to meet contractual obligations on gas supply for domestic use. Unavailability of a centrifugal compressor used to feed the gas supply was unacceptable because it was affecting power generation.
  • Unscheduled downtime could be almost eliminated through careful prioritizing of maintenance actions through applying RCM techniques.
